Notice Board & Notice of Race

Baltic Offshore Week is one of the Baltic Sea region’s leading offshore sailing regattas and serves as the joint Estonian and Finnish ORC Offshore Sailing Championship. The event is held every second year, alternating between Helsinki and Tallinn, bringing together the strongest offshore racing teams from both countries as well as competitors from across the Baltic region.

The regatta combines offshore and inshore racing under the ORC rating system, challenging crews in a variety of conditions on the waters of the Gulf of Finland. Over the years, Baltic Offshore Week has become an important fixture on the Northern European sailing calendar, attracting both experienced championship contenders and ambitious amateur teams.

The event is organised through close cooperation between the Estonian and Finnish sailing communities. Recent editions have been hosted by leading yacht clubs and national offshore racing organisations, including Helsingfors Segelklubb (HSK), the Finnish Offshore Racing Association (Avomeripurjehtijat), Kalev Yacht Club (KJK), and Estonian Sailing Federation (EPL), reflecting the strong sailing traditions shared by both countries.

In 2026, the event returns to Tallinn, where competitors will once again gather at Kalev Yacht Club for a weekend of competitive racing, international camaraderie, and Baltic offshore sailing at its best.

The regatta takes place on waters that have welcomed generations of sailors and numerous international championships. Following the successful organisation of major ORC events in recent years, Baltic Offshore Week continues to provide a high-level racing platform while showcasing Tallinn as one of the Baltic Sea’s premier sailing destinations.
